Information
The Z-projects provide administration, data management, graduate education (IRTG) and communication of the CRC research into schools and to the broad public.
Within the Z-group, we will particularly focus on the data administration project which will strengthen its efforts to make all CRC data available in a sustainable database. The new database website has now been fully installed and the project group will - according to the planned end of the CRC by 2021 - invest most of its working capacity in ensuring sustainability and post-2021 access for all research results of the CRC 806. After 8 years of CRC research, we also feel prepared to undertake a public exhibition of the CRC about “Migrations”, to be opened to the broad public from May 2017 with the Neanderthal Museum as starting point (further exhibition sites planned). Our experience within the didactic project has created a wide network into Rhineland/Westphalia advanced schools which will both help in our exhibition project and serve as a platform for the last project phase. Special focus will also be on the IRTG, which will function as one particular centre to compile multidisciplinary results and achieve a platform that summarises and exploit collected data and addressing the overall scientific target of the CRC 806.
