We would like to draw your attention to our interdisciplinary session Integrating stratigraphy, sedimentology, palaeontology and paleoclimate in human evolution and dispersal studies - from early hominins to the Holocene (SSP1.9/GM10.4) at the European Geophysical Union General Assembly (3–8 May 2020) in Vienna, Austria. This session is open to all working on the environmental context of human evolution and dispersal and we warmly encourage interdisciplinary teams to submit abstracts on their project’s research on archaeology, paleoclimate, and paleoenvironmental reconstruction with particular emphasis on Africa, Arabia, Europe and Asia.
The keynote talk will be given by Prof. Dr. Andrew Cohen (Department of Geosciences, University of Arizona): Continental scientific drilling: A game changer for understanding ecosystem evolution in Africa.
Submit your abstract here: https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU2020/session/36477
Deadline: All abstract submissions must be received by 15 January 2020, 13:00 CET.
We are looking forward to meet many of you in Vienna!
